University of Phoenix Introduces New Skills Pathways for Talent Management and Workplace Wellness

Innovative online programs designed to foster healthier workplaces and future-ready talent pools

University of Phoenix is pleased to announce the two new skill development pathways available through its Professional Development Skills Center. The pathways, “Talent Management" and "Workplace Wellness: Awareness and Action" are designed to support HR teams, leadership, and employees in creating healthier workplaces and ensuring a future-ready workforce.

According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2023, which surveyed 803 companies collectively employing 11.3 million workers, talent management and workplace wellness are becoming increasingly critical in today's work environment. The report indicates that talent management is prioritized for reskilling and upskilling in 27% of organizations from 2023 to 2027, ranking 8th in importance. Simultaneously, workplace wellness is recognized as essential for employee retention and productivity.

“Our new pathways are designed to support workplace wellness and talent management by providing practical and flexible training solutions,” stated Vice President and General Manager of Professional Development at the University of Phoenix Mukund Sudarsan. “These areas are not just future needs, but present realities that must be addressed to thrive. Investing in them today sets the stage for long-term success and resilience.”

Focus areas of the new pathways include:
